Future Fashion, is this it?

future-fashion-is-this-it

Well, they say that fashion stays alive, be it past or be it the future. Even today we discuss the animal-skin clothes flaunted by those early ‘homo sapiens’ and as a matter of fact some of us even wear them once in a while. Coming to the future, (yes you guessed it right, future fashion is still unborn) there is a way to catch a glimpse of the fashion trends in those times. After all, when would be the most precious invention of humankind, the time machine, put into use?

Basically, this started as a rebellion to create a television program that portrays the ‘futuristic’ version of humankind in competition against the ‘stone-age’ version (The Flintstones of course).

A team of some rebels used the time traveling machine and landed up in the year 15000 AD or something and started shooting. There is where we were privileged to take a look at the future fashion that the human race would be adopting in the coming years. Remember, here further in this article, George Jetson will be the men’s fashion icon who we will refer to and Jane Jetson the women icon with Judy Jetson as the teen fashion diva!

Men Fashion in the Future

A skinny man who is always accused for making right decisions is George Jetson (not practically a Jet’s son). His fashion sense is impeccable and shows that how advanced he is. He wears a full-sleeve white colored shirt which is supposedly cast out of some metal because those collars are rarely seen moving and are always standing tall. Well, the blue colored bottom that he wears is actually the hard part to be figured out. It cannot be said whether it is a track pant, or a jeans, or a formal trouser or something else. But still, it looks quite good on George! In between the shirt and the pants, there is a green patch present which is too thick for a belt. But this is the future, so let us say this is a belt. And the last part of his complete-in-all-ways outfit is the white shoes which cannot be described in words. So, white, green, blue, white are the colors in that order present on George Jetson’s body and certainly, they dictate a fashion statement!

Women Fashion in the Future

Jane Jetson, the wife of George Jetson, the mother of Judy and Elroy Jetson, is the perfect family-woman of the future. With her zero figure body shape and an anti-classical yet colorful sense of dressing, Jane is the fashion idol of day after tomorrow multiplied by ‘n’ (where, n = infinity). She wears what appears like a long purple colored dress with not a V-neck but a Triangle neck. The white colored Triangle neck-cum-collar compliments her orange hair and purple dress. On top of that, the double hem of her dress without any frills adds to her elegance. All in all, she has a nice taste of clothes!

Teen Fashion in the Future

Just like her mom, Judy wears similar types of clothes but with some variations. She wears a pretty short top with that same Triangle neck-cum-collar. The top is usually pink in color and looks good on Judy. Judy flaunts a plate-plain skirt of the same color and is also trendy. She has long white hairs that are locked in a long pony. The hair really suits the overall appearance of Judy! After all, there has to be a reason as to why Judy is a famous teen diva of the future!

This was a quick sneak-peek in the future or unborn fashion and it was indeed very inspiring. You can go ahead and dress up yourselves in the Jetsons’ style to look trendy and appealing. But remember, if you are not able to carry the look around, you simply were not made for it!
