Christopher Kane pushed the fashion innovation with his fall/winter 2011 collection in London Fashion Week. He began his fall show auspiciously, presenting the coolest crochet knits. His collection included cardigans and knit skirts in geometric patterns, with liquid-filled plastic insets that created a homespun-meets-futuristic look. In his collection the accessories included matching plastic clutch fluid plastic effects.
The best new British fashion talent seen at London Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2011 was Holly Fulton. Holly Fulton is always interactive and brings a fun factor in her collection. Many fashionistas liked her first yellow and black tweed look, her signature geometric prints and art deco dress. This season, House of Holland played with colorful tweeds and granny-chic prints. The use of chunky accessories as well as jewelry with stud details was impressive in her collection.
David Koma, yet another designer, showcased her black dresses with circles effects. The black dresses had faces with unusual colors and fur in funny places. Inspired by Japanese conceptual artist Yayoi Kusama, David Koma brought fall's polka dot trend, showing a sexy, sophisticated collection in London Fashion Week. The tight-fitting skirts and dresses were contoured with cut-outs and polka dot prints in all different colors and sizes.
The London Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2011 gave the fashionistas a fresh and new look to try this fall. It also opened the doors for many upcoming fashion designers to serve the fashion universe with their artistry.
