On February 9, 1974 Amber Valletta was born, in US (Phoenix Arizona). When she was a teenager, her family shifted to Tulsa Oklahoma where she grew up. At the age of fifteen ,Amber's mother admitted her in a modeling school and that was the starting of her career.

Soon after that she was inquired to be in the Italian Vogue magazine. Subsequent to this she was in Elle magazine and then finally shifted to Paris fulltime.

Her photogenic appeal has been hunted by many photographers around the globe and has given her plenty of work. She has worked with famous designers such as Versace, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Prada and Gucci. Moreover, she was selected as the co-anchor of MTV's popular show called "House of Style."

Her career also consists of films, What Lies Beneath, where she acted with Will Smith and Raising Helen with Kate Hudson. Several magazines have also featured Amber on the cover as well. She was also featured in a film called Drop Back Ten.

When Valletta was a teenager she desired to be a sociologist but although she didn’t reach that aim she has been able to employ her star status to back lot of charity events.

Amber was in relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio for quite a few times but their bonding did not last. Soon after that she wed Herve' Le Bihan but 2 years later the couple broke up. At last, she met well-known sportsperson Christian McCaw and had a child in year 2000.
